DENTAL, VISION, AND HEARING INSURANCE

Here are a few things we think you should consider:

Vision Insurance

Vision Insurance

Vision insurance offers numerous benefits, helping you maintain optimal eye health while managing costs. With vision insurance, you gain access to regular eye exams that can detect vision problems early and monitor changes over time. This proactive approach not only aids in preserving your eyesight but can also catch early signs of other health conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure. Additionally, vision insurance often covers a portion of the costs for eyeglasses, contact lenses, and sometimes even corrective surgeries.

Dental Insurance

Dental Insurance

When choosing a dental insurance plan, it's important to consider the type of services you want coverage for. Dental insurance providers generally offer three types of plans.

  1. Preventive - only covering routine cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatment, and sealants.

  2. Basic - covers basic services - fillings, simple extractions, and pain treatment.

  3. Major - covers crowns, root canals, periodontal cleanings, dentures, and the more expensive plans offer orthodontia and implant coverage.

It's also important to shop for plans that are in-network with your preferred dentist. We recommend calling your dentist to confirm they will file the insurance before enrolling in a plan.

Lastly, some plans have waiting periods of up to 6-12 months before basic and major services will be covered. Take this into account if you're signing up for new insurance.

Hearing Insurance

Hearing Insurance

By investing in hearing insurance, you gain access to regular hearing exams that can detect changes in your hearing early on, allowing for timely interventions. Additionally, hearing insurance often covers a significant portion of the costs for hearing aids, which can be quite expensive without coverage. With hearing insurance, you also benefit from discounts on hearing aid repairs, fittings, and accessories.
